CHANEL SHOW LANDS IN MIAMI EXECUTIVE AIRPORT
One of the most exciting fashion shows to hit Miami will take place on September 26

MIAMI, FL—August 21, 2007—The legendary house of Chanel announced today the premiere showing of the Chanel 2008 Resort and Cruise Collection on Wednesday evening, September 26 in South Florida.

The show will be presented by Saks Fifth Avenue Dadeland to benefit the Golden Angels, a recognition society of the Jackson Memorial Foundation.

The event will be held in a private airplane hangar at the Miami Executive Airport. It will echo the spectacular world premiere at the Santa Monica Airport, where a hangar was transformed into a glamorous airport lounge, complete with models exiting planes outfitted in the collection.

In addition to the presentation of the Chanel 2008 Resort and Cruise Collection, there will be a spectacular cocktail reception and a formal sit-down gourmet dinner that will go well beyond first class service. Pat Wallace, chairwoman of the Golden Angels says, “We know this will be an event that no one will forget.”

Hosting the event will be Platinum Angel and Chairwoman Marisa Cisneros Rizzon, andSaks Fifth Avenue Dadeland, which is a Golden Angel. Nora Bulnes, society leader and publisher of Selecta Magazine is the Honorary Chairwoman.

Pat Wallace founded the Golden Angels in her living room almost 10 years ago. Since then, more than 300 people have joined, with donations of $50,000 to $5 million and more. Since the inception of this group, they have raised funds to help heal countless people and created numerous cutting-edge projects—all with one goal: creating a facility at Jackson that gives the best health care to residents of Miami-Dade County.

The House of Chanel, founded by Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel, revolutionized haute couture fashion by designing classic suits and dresses that were both simple and comfortable. Today, the icon of elegance in the fashion industry, under the design direction of Karl Lagerfeld, has continued to define the Chanel style as being unique, passionate and visionary. Saks Fifth Avenue Dadeland will have the collection in-store Thursday, September 27 and Friday, September 28.

Individual tickets are $300 and $400 per person and tables for ten range from $5,000 for runway seating; $4,000 for second tier seating; and $3,000 in third tier seating.
